Tears streaming... This is written so perfectly. FB is an amazing thing, and for someone like me who likes to "keep in touch" it has filled me with such joy getting to do such that with people in my life. This photo and learning of your father's friends who held their memorial really made me happy to read!!

keep it up, I LOVE your photo of the day!!

this is the most beautifully written post ever. it brought chills. i think it really sums up my love for facebook. it's hard to explain to people who don't do facebook why it's so great. i admit, even i didn't want to do facebook for a long time and fought friends saying it was only for high school kids. now that i use it, i can't imagine not having those relationships with people i may have never connected with again. childhood friends, long lost college buddies, perfect strangers who've become friends. i love it all.

ok, this comment is getting long, but i also wanted to express how wonderful your dad's high school friends are! what a wonderful idea to go visit all the deceased members of their class. i'm sure your dad was looking down and touched by their thoughtfulness. i hope i leave enough of an impression on people that they do things like that for me when i'm gone.

thanks for sharing leslie, and thanks for the mention too! ;)
